Overview:

Just like the folks we take on horse adventures, we have horses that have never been ridden and horses that love to be ridden. We will be sure to pair you with the perfect match!

In all seriousness, we have horses for all riding abilities including those folks that have never ridden. What makes our ride unique is we are able to offer the real experience of living on a ranch, coupled with exclusive access off the ranch into some of the most beautiful and historic relics of the area.

You can expext 4-8 hours in the saddle a day, because everyone is on the ranch. If you need a day out of the saddle we understand, enjoy the ranch at your leisure and eat to your hearts content.

Cattle Drive:

Ever seen "John Wayne and The Cowboys"?

Lets move a herd of cattle. Wyoming is prime cattle country and we have been enlisted to help move the ranches herd. Control your horse at your comfort level and find your inner Cowboy or Cowgirl!

Bring in the Remuda:

On the original ranches of the West, they kept a couple horses at camp and they turned the rest of the herd(Remuda) loose on the range. They did this out of necessity, without the modern luxury of baled hay. Multiple horses were needed per cowboy due to the strains of daily ranch life. This created horse herds from tens to hundreds depending on the size of the operation.  Every morning of a drive it was the duty of the cowboys to go bring in the Remuda to the ranches corrals. During your ranch experience, we will saddle up and bring in the remuda!

History:

The area is loaded with history and we will take you back in time with knowledgeable historians and exclusive tours. The TA Ranch which will be our rides headquarters is known for being one of the sites of the Johnson County War. Ride where Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid rode and hid out along with some of historys most notorious outlaws!

Accommodation/Food:

The TA Ranch is world famous! They know how to treat their guest right and the headquarters are beautiful and relaxing. Live the Ranch life in style, the ride will include accommodations on the ranch along with 3 meals a day from their award winning restaurant. Food and Accomodations are included in your stay, but if you need something a little stronger to settle the dust in your throat alcohol is available for purchase.
